Brett, if you can fit that lot under the seat on a 3 1/2 I'll be astonished!

I'm thinking of making a flat panel to fit inside the left-hand side cover to give more storage space. Has anyone else done this?

Hi Mark,

Yes that will be the problem how to reduce the size or tools to suit the needs....the other option is what you have suggested.

The older scooters used to do the same thing fit them under the side cover.

I have a tube plug spanner with a 13mm hex on it. With the side cover off you can wiggle the spanner in to position and just about get to it with a combi 13mm. That's on a 250 with a 350 motor in it so clearance is even tighter. Unfortunately I can't remember where or even when I acquired it. It may even have once formed part of the tool kit for another bike, or more likely I spotted it at an autojumble or on a Classic Mechanics Show tool stand.

Well I now have obtained a Moto Morini original tool kit and bag that I found on ebay in the States.

I will just add to it..
