Do you have some reason not to believe the sellers description?

That's right on an early 500. The exhaust/footpeg loops are definitely 500 shape.hendre wrote:seems the front head is very close to the frame tubing...
It matches this example; http://www.northleicestermotorcycles.co ... sn2763.jpg

Hi all.
It's a 3 1/2 with a 500 engine,I've a friend with one that looks the same as this, the side covers don't normally cover as much of the rear head as on a 3 1/2 engined model, plus the wheel base looks too short for a five hundred

Hi All,
Like me 30 years on it doesn't quite look like it use to do but Ady is right it was and i believe still is the 500
which I bought new from Chapmans back in 1981. £1625.00 I believe was the cost back then but then again that was a lot of money at the time. I'm sure Ady can tell us more but when I sold it in 1989/90 it was completely standard with around 15K on the clock. You might find this difficult to understand Ady but I traded in a 78 350 sport for the 500 as I considered that the 500 would be a better ride for the factory visit of that year. Still prefer Strada's to this day. I hope you find a good home for your Morini.
