500 Engine (Most of!!)

Post by ortonpaddy »

Hi again... I still have most of a 500 engine, I believe the bottom end iis 6 speed (could be wrong) and that it came off and early Camel (?) I have stator plate, 2 flywheels (one electric start, one non) two side panels (could be 1? need to check) both are electric start type if I remember, but no starters. A pair of Barrels (probably in need of re bore, but I believe re-bore-able as they are the non plated variety, but no pistons.

I also have a brand new and un-used cam belt of correct size from NLM and clutch activator arm. and a set of push rods.

With it are a pair of cylinder heads in need of repair welding/machining etc - Couple of threads, new valve seats, one set of valve seats has been welded ready to be machined and the usual crack between ports.

Suitable for spares or repair, but I believe a fare price would be £150.... if you live nearby come and have a look.... Thanks Patrick

Just to clarify (I just read thru and it did not seem that clear!!) only the cam belt is new and un-used, the clutch activator arm. and a set of push rods are both used!

Hi, thanks got it, but replying here too just in case you don't get my reply. Should be there 7.30 tomorrow, but I'll ring first to give ETA.

Cheers

Pete

PS. Looking back I think this wins 'the most boring string on the forum' award, other than discussion of Corsaro carbon fibre ECUs, obviously..................

Now you're just showing your ignorance Pete- Everybody knows only the Corsaro Veloce has a carbon fibre ECU.

Hi John.... I sent a pm on 13th of April and did not receive a response so honestly assumed you were not interested, must be a glitch in the system I genuinely would not have passed on to anyone else had I known you were still interested.... sorry for mix up!!
