K2 for restoration

Post by Arthur Farrow »

I have a complete minus silencers K2 for sale. All original switches electrics present (looks like E/S there too) and instruments

In my view based on nearly 50 years of Morini ownership the best 350 engine. Nicasil bores only on this variant give a freedom of running that is a joy.

Its a restoration project with NOVA and the official DVLA approved dating Certificate and I can advise on getting registered with DVLA as I am the clubs registrar and dating officer.

Engine turns over fine, F brake looks to have no fluid and R brake seized in the cylinder or pedal. Wheels just fine-Infact excellent , gears select ok. Buyer collects near Rugby but might deliver for ££

I'M SELLING SILLY CHEAP ! so this is a VIABLE restore project. Send me personal message if interested. If you wanted to break I think the return would be fantastic, sacrilege for sure, but I do not have the time or the inclination .

I remember the K2 Classic I had for a while.

Sorely tempted as a source of an engine, while Benji re-rebuilds my spare 350 lump.

Hmm, "Turns over". Plus I didn't really gel with the cam in my K2. Perhaps it was just mine, but it was a bit too linear for me. Made a good touring machine though.

A good sum of the parts is greater than the whole project for somebody, for sure.
