Do you mean the primary casing that has the clutch basket and primary drive gear either side of it? I may be able to help.

Are you looking for a K1 seat, as in the attached photo? If so I have a seat and the fibreglass base and storage box thingy, but not the lock.

The photo is of another bike, but if it is what you are looking for I will take some photos of the one I have.

Hi Steve, Would you be able to send me any pictures of the casing please?..my bike is an 1984 500 has an external oil filter fitted and I want to go back to standard where are you located?

Hi honbob.

Yes, I don't think the year matters for the 500s, you just need to specify that you want a 500 Sport seat (with the hump) rather than a 500 Strada seat (which is flatter).

The seat I have is off a 350 K1 Sport and is completely different. The lock is on top of the ducktail, and when unlocked the whole seat lifts off.

The earlier 350 K Sport seat looks similar to yours and hinges on the left side with a lock on the right side, but I suspect that a 350 seat may be shorter than a 500 one, although I don't know for sure. Having said that, I do have a 350 K Sport seat (in terrible condition) which I could measure tomorrow.
