Hey there,
Getting close on getting NY ready for MOT and registration. Wiring all fixed so now on to the front brake which barely works at all. Lever feels very woffy, one piston in the caliper is seized and the other corroded and barely moves. I note there are no dust seals either.
My chum chatGPT, reckons the caliper is a Brembo P2 with 26mm pistons and says Rebuild kit is: Brembo 120.2792.10 (for P2 26 series — includes pistons + seals).
1. This may not be correct
2. I can't find a rebuild kit anywhere under that number. even the main Brembo.com does not help.
(Mdina do not show available stock under the NY Parts Book number 43.03.48)
Anyone a Brembo expert? Do Excaliburs and Darts have the same caliper? Dart has different caliper and seals kit part numbers. What about Coguaro?
In the limit a replacement caliper may be required if the bores are too corroded 43.30.28. Anyone got one lurking on the shelf?
Thankx in advance

Might be worth a trawl through Gutsibits brakes pages.

Thanks, John. maybe tracked this down now.
The caliper looks to be used on the Kanguro X3 and a couple of Husqvarna trailies of the similar vintage.
Mdina have the kits for the former and used calipers if needed.
Cheers
