Intake stubs

Morning all, out on a ride yesterday afternoon on my 76 strada and when we pulled up after 50 miles noticed it was idling a bit high on further inspection the intake stub nuts had worked a bit loose so back on ramp later today and wonder if locative 572 thread sealant is ok to use on these ?

I should think that loctite is ok. Careful when tightening the locking ring though, if overdone the stub can shear off!
