Hi I’m Graham from Warwickshire and have just joined the club and forum, l don’t have a Morini at the moment but I’m seriously considering buying a 500 Sport in the near future if a suitable one becomes available. l have experienced owning and maintaining old classic bikes as l recently sold a Norton 850 Commando that l owned for six years, my present bike is a 2018 Royal Enfield Classic 500 which I recently discovered has a cracked frame but that’s another story so l have no ride until it’s repaired, hopefully later on this year. Meanwhile I can enjoy enjoy the club and forum finding out more about these wonderful bikes!

Hi Graham.

Welcome to the Club and the Forum.

Hopefully you will be receiving the Club magazine 'A Tutto Gas'. That will contain details of the gatherings of the Warwickshire Section.

Regarding a Morini 500 Sport, there is currently one for sale on ebay.

Here is the link... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226925056019 ... 49.m162918

It has been around for a while but strangely hasn't yet sold. Maybe the colour is putting people off? What I can tell you is that the seller is a skilled engineer who makes parts and tools for Morinis. (See other items). Just the sort of person to buy a bike from, and the price is extremely good.

Still, whatever you do with regards to purchasing a bike, you are sure to get plenty of support here on the Forum and throughout the Club in general.

Best regards.
Jenny.

Ok thanks Jenny, yes one to consider, there are a couple of others on the Car & Classic that I’ve seen as well.

Any reason you want 500 rather than a 350? You're restricting yourself quite a lot.

More power more torque, l would imagine they would be a more relaxed ride.
