Transducers

Post by Guzziando »

Having looked at the Nederland Morini website [urlhttps://morini-riders-club.com/Nederland/tech.html#alternative%20systems][/url] I do not recognise my Transducer/coils? It is a 1976 MM350. I wonder if anyone could shed some light on the make of them?

You have got the NLM ignition system on your bike. Well, at least part of it.
The bits in your picture are usually ok, it's the trigger part on the camshaft that can be awkward to set if you have that part as well.

Thank you George, very helpful. I have found the instructions in the members area. Mine still has the original red pick-up installed

The coils fitted seem very cheap to replace if anything goes wrong:

I have never checked the ignition timing, I am assuming that because it is the original pick-up, checking the timing will be the same as the manual?

Timing: Yes, same as standard.
You are lucky enough to have the original pick up as the NLM one can be a difficult thing to set up.
