Dating my k2 ...Frame No k24280..no engine No

On the Headstock on the left are two genuine looking labels ......D G M 19552 and est 21375 O M anybody know if they mean anything?

They are approvals. They appeared on the K1, too. I presume when bureaucracy caught up with regulating motorcycles. The DGM one used to be stamped on the frame with the frame number.

Those who have a post July 1960 Corsaro will be familiar with IGM 1068 OM.

As mentioned, The OM and DGM numbers are homologation numbers.

Your frame number is K24280 and this is all that should appear on the V5.

The club can provide a dating certificate for the purposes of DVLA dating and obtaining an age related registration.

Dating certificate is free to club members or £20 to non members. For more info contact the Morini Riders Club registrar
