Re: rear brake drum
I think the answer to your question is yes?
A Sport wheel will fit in a Strada swining arm, yet the drum/cush drive sizes are different

Re: rear brake drum
Hi Gareth,
Do you have the old shoes, but that they are simply worn out?
If so, why not get them relined by a relining company?
Villiers Services (Wolverhampton) or Saftek (Cleckheaton) both spring to mind as companies that do excellent work at very reasonable cost.
Regards, George

Hi George. like i said have no old ones thanks for reply
Re: rear brake drum
Yes you can. But you need the whole stuff of the 180 mm brake, plate carrier, damper, the bored half- axle, lh Sparer, chaintensioner, Spindel. All these parts are diferent to the 160.mm strada wire brake ! These parts are the same as for the 180 cast wheels.gareth jones 2608 wrote: ↑12 Aug 2024 18:01 Can i fit a moto morini 3 1/2 rear sport brake drum on a strada both wire wheel. Re: rear brake drum
I suggest you search for Ferodo, EBC etc brake shoes and get them either direct.
Or armed with the part numbers then search the net or better still phone.
eg MandP will either have them in stock or order them in, yet you won't find them on their web site unless you know the EBC/Ferodo part number.
Lots of bikes used Grimeca wheels/drums so it shouldn't be that hard to source?
Good luck with the quest

Hi,
They might work, they might not, but 'Classic Ducati' show some narrow case single 180mm front brake shoes for sale. Unfortunately the rears listed are 160mm.
See:[url]https://www.classicducati.com/products/ ... e-shoes-1/ [url] .
Ducati also used Grimeca, so could be worth contacting them and ask?
