Sat Nav Mounting

Has anyone found a secure/sensible way of mounting Sat Nav on their Granpasso?

I have a TomTom rider with a touratech lockable mount and am struggling to find a way of mounting it on the bike...any ideas/soltuions etc gratefully received//.....

won't the sat nav mount just clamp on to the bars?

Should have updated..

I got a lovely billet bar clamp from the Touring Biker Co at Romsey...fitted the fat bars perfectly and leaves the speedo etc clear...The company are Highly recommended for the great /prompt service if anyone is looking for any touring kit ( luggage/maps/satnav etc )

I have fitted a Zumo 550 to my Granpasso. The handlebars are too thick for the Zumo clamp but it fits easily to the Morini crossbar (part X2241030). As the crossbar is quite long, the unit can be fitted so that it does not obscure the Granpasso speedo unit. The Zumo is wired in using the 12V aux power socket (part X2143011) but it could just as easily be wired to the power socket behind the battery.

I've put a Garmin 2610 on my Granpasso. RAM do a stainless steel U-bolt mount which attaches to the handlebars pretty much wherever you want. It cost me Â£13.69 from http://www.gpsw.co.uk/ I already had the rest of the mounting bits from a previous bike. The RAM stuff is very flexible and you only buy the bits you need, rather than 'kits'.

I use a RAM mount on my corsaro too. The one I use is the master cylinder clamp mount which bolts on in place of the clutch lever/master cylinder clamp. Absolutely pefect for the job.

The Garmin Zumo is supplied with RAM mount fittings - so we have all used the same method!!
