I've struggled to find a supplier of the correct fully synthetic Agip 10W60 oil, however this place will send it:

Good service and it arrived the next day.......however it is VERY expensive at £12.75 ltr (= £51 an oil change!!).
Maybe I should have bought an MZ after all!!!!

For this country and the temps we see, also if your NOT using it on the race track
using a GOOD quality fully synthetic 10/40 with a jaso ma and double ester based spec should be NO problem
there are quite a number to choose from depends who can supply in your location, but Putoline ,Motul Castrol Power 1 and Silkolene pro4 are all good brands.

10w60 oil
A good 10W40 is of course cheaper that a 10W50 or a 60 if you can find it, and will do fine. If concerned change the engine oil more frequently.The only significant difference is in the oil,s shear characteristics under extreme conditions: ie Heat and it,s ability to maintain it,s viscosity and longevity.Additives are another way to go as well for use in the cheaper oil,s. Try www.trubluoil.com.au Engine Oil Stabilizer, this product is excellent and is the slipperiest substance I have rubbed between my fingers.

You should NEVER use friction modifiers in motorcycle engines due to the use of wet clutches plus they can have a detrimental effect to the running of an engine with engine start failures, a rough running feel and increased fuel consumption due to higher engine stall speeds.THE ONLY oil used in a motorcycle engine shopuld be to the JASO-MA spec which has (no friction modifiers) or JASO-MB (with friction modifiers) but is designed for motorcycles that need that spec. Engine Oil Stabilizer not Friction Modifier
Steve 55.Sorry,I should have made my self clearer,the product is not a friction modifier even though it seems extremely slimy when rubbed between one,s fingers. I have visited the Tru-Blu site! It never ceases to amaze me that intelligent people are taken in by these claims. It's all smoke and mirrors. Companies like STP, Lucas, Molyslip market similar products. Tru-Blue claim and I quote "the oil better maintains its ability to cling to" and "metal parts are coated with a thin film of oil" this is a FRICTION MODIFIER by any other name.
As for their upper cyl lube which they claim will enhance fuel economy by 30% is complete bollocks it's just an octane booster, using a super unleaded like Shell V max fuel will have the same effect.
Some racers!! Use these products because the friction will be less so the engine runs cooler and marginal gains to RPM but they only have to last for ONE meeting.
If you are looking for more power and torque use thinner oil!!
In conclusion always use premium brand oil specified for motorcycles.
