Tarozzi's

Post by mgill »

Tarozzi rearsets, NLM swanneck kickstart lever, two into one exhaust,
and a side stand.
What's wrong with this picture?
Can these things work together?

Perennial problems await.

Sports would have left the factory with rearsets if they were easier to accomodate (notwithstanding the dubious notion that the position was semi-dictated by the need to use the rider's legs to help cool number 1 cyl).

3 1/2s are a bit of a compromise in terms of controls and ancilliaries! All this stuff can be made to fit (eventually).

Probaly the 2:1.

With the exception of the rear brake cable mounting my rearsets fitted fine (extended kickstart). I came up with my own cable and brake switch mounting plate and used a shortened cable. I also had to shorten the brake pedal peg by one 'ring'.

There are many different bends for the rear cylinder pipe. Many simply do not work with the Tarozzis without some 'adjustment'.

Thank you Gentelmen,
Have realized my side stand is bent. I've ordered a set of 2/2 headers from NLM and will be fitting the original LaFranconi's that came with the bike. Custom cable stay is in the works as well as the toe piece.
Thanks,
Mat.
