Marzocchi Shock absorbers

I am looking for. Set of OEM Marzocchi shocks for my 1974 3.5 Sport. I am not bothered about total originality, and assume they must have been used on other bikes....what is the eye to eye size please if anyone knows it.

I'd also be happy with Koni 7610 dial a rides........if they will fit.

Currently have Hagons, they are Ok but nothing special on a bumpy road looking for more sophisticated damping.

If you are looking for more sophisticated damping then you certainly don't want the original Marzocchi. They weren't even gas pressurised. And they'll be 30+ years old too.
Length you need is 300 -305mm,which is a bit restrictive in what you can get.
Don't forget that your bike is a 45 year old design and hard unforgiving suspension was what was fitted when the bikes were new.
Ikons are expensive so have you spoken to Hagon on about your issues?
Only other shocks I can think of are Falcon who will build you what you want.

I've used both Hagon and Ikon on my 3 1/2s. The Hagons will give you a bit of a kick up the backside over potholes and bumps, while the Ikons are way more sophisticated, but twice the price.

Ikon does have a relatively new line of shocks called "Basix" that are around the same price as Hagons. Don't know if they're available for Morinis or not though. http://www.ikonsuspension.com/product/7 ... absorbers/

I think I shall look for a used set of Konis, they seem to sell for about same price as a new set of Hagons. Irons are now made in Australia where I live so rebuild kits easily available

Original 1975 Morini 350 shock absorbers measure 295 mm from centre of eye to centre of eye, fully extended. That's my measurement, anyway.

the number of the original Koni replacement was 7610-1307
