Strada blue paint

Post by pedro »

Does anyone out there in Moriniland know a paint code or reference for the Strada blue that some of the early Strada's were painted, the very pretty light blue, might be metallic, I'm not sure about that.

Don'y know the code, but here's a photo of a Strada in the original colour taken back in the early 2000's in the Scottish light (so beware of colour balance issues!).

Good luck and let us know the "correct" answer if you find it! The undercoat (starting to show through here) was a pale grey, and the paint was getting to be very 'soft' and definitely not metallic... The side panels had already been resprayed, and are not the correct colour match (a Ford colour, I was told)

Hi,

Is there a list of paint colours anywhere? I know they were probably different and RAL Code is probably not an Italian phrase, but would be useful for people trying to restore bikes.

Mike.
