Oil pressure sender cross-reference?

Post by AntietamClassicCycle »

Working through the multitude of minor issues on my recently purchased 350 K2. It's been leaving a spot directly under the oil pressure sender which appears to be leaking. Is there one from another vehicle that will fit and function properly or is it peculiar somehow to Morini? I tried the "search" function but came up empty. Thanks.

It´s a thread of M12x1,5 not that unusual. The contact to ground separates about 0,5 to 0,7 bar, that´s what I believe to remember. I think you also can mount one that opens at 1 bar. That must be more or less the pressure with warm oil at idle speed. Should not be that dificult to find one in any shop of motor parts  It works the other way around than the contacts for example of the brakes, that close the contacts at pressure.

Found a Moto Guzzi one that will work. Was hoping to retain the original type connector, but had to change it. No biggie.
