Perish the thought, Ben, they are far more helpful and eloquent than that.
Welcome,

Heh heh…..do you mean they might still tell me to 's*d off', just more eloquently?! I was only joking……I never thought they would.

Will PM you next time the weather's looking like it'll be fine for the day, I'll have a ride up your way. Have a look at and a spin on my Veloce if you like. I have a black Hornet 600 too BTW :D

Jim - bless you. Thanks very much for the offer, but I'd never risk having a go on someone else's' pride-and-joy!! I have thought about having a run down to NLM (despite the above fears!) to have a mooch around and a chat when I get chance though - weather permitting - so if you wanted to meet up there, we could, and I could take a look at your bike then. Should I ever get chance, I'll PM you. Thanks again for the offer though.

CC - don't think I got to meet you to Stafford (I was there Saturday), but had a nice chat with Paul whilst he was on the stand (trying to flog his 3 1/2 no less - lovely as it is. Loved the ad that said "owner must promise to ride it"!!). Unfortunately, he didn't have space to take the 9 1/2 as well, so didn't get to take a look, but he said he was looking at a possible 11 1/2 as well! Also got to pick up a copy of ATG, as well as a membership form.

Always plenty of interesting bikes at NLM, and one or two good roads nearby.
Happy riding

Hi from Spain.
I´m Daytonero, and I´m a Corsaro 1200 owner few days ago.
I have changed my previous CBR954 for my new Corsaro (2006). 8000 km at gauge (I do not believe they are real) and I hope this bike will be the best (previously... 94' GS500E, 99' Bandit 600, 04' Daytona 600, 91' GS125, 93' TE610, 92' GSXR750W, 97' JTX270, 06' EXC450, 06' SXV550, 02' CBR954).
The bike needs a good work, but with the Corsaro I have regained tempers and interest in motorcycles.
See you.

Hola Daytonero,
welcome along. You've got the right bike to keep you interested in motorcycles, and some great Spanish roads too. Where are you in Spain?
Cheers,

Hi there

I just bought a 2011 Scrambler, white/red, Michelin Anakees, hand guards, standard shock, ex-West Country bike ...first venture into Moto Morini territory but I loved the look and concept of this thing from the moment I first learned of it.

I'm 50, and live in Lichfield, Staffordshire (30 mins north of Birmingham). Had off roaders when I was a kid, and a road-legal Honda Elsinore 250 when I lived in the US years ago. Many years passed, and I then bought a Honda XL500 to muck about on. That was replaced by a Triumph Scrambler, and that has now been trumped by the MM Scrambler.

I've only had a brief ride today as it was quite wet. Very planted, sounded awesome, torquey, great riding position - I am delighted. I see a couple of you are not too away - 72 degrees, and Thatch? I'm always up for a ride out and shall keep an eye out for events.

Good to find this forum!

Cheers

G'day everyone, new member here.

I'm Dan and I live in SW Victoria in Australia with my wife and son, and of course the mistress (Corsaro 1200 '08)
The mistress has been a great bike and certainly turns heads wherever she goes. She's been my riding companion across a great deal of Australia including Queensland and the Northern Territory, and now gets regular squirts up and down the Great Ocean Road in Victoria.
I've done a few minor upgrades along the way so far by changing to the Termi exhausts, sleeker mirrors replacing the round ones, heated grips (it's much colder in Vic than it was in the NT!!) and I recently remapped the ECU following the great advice on this forum. I would've joined up much earlier and this is in fact my fourth attempt which was finally successful thanks to Tom. Each of my previous attempts vanished into the ether for reasons only our computer overlords may know.

I think my next little project will be to address the coolant hose issue that has caught my attention in the forum. I'm not in the mood for that bad-boy surprising me by letting go on a cliff-edge corner on the Great Ocean Rd!

The only real issue I have with the bike is getting hold of consumables like filters here in Aus. Or any parts for that matter. Any advise on that front would be greatly appreciated!!

Cheerio,
Dan

Hello everyone , Late in life to be a new convert (79 years ). The seed was set in c1974 when a guy named Keith Wain who sold bikes out of Rock Garage near Biddulph Staffs. offered me a test ride on the Demo 3.5 Sport . I came so close but stayed with Vintage bikes . Anyway now own a 1975 Sport and looking forward to some warmth in the air Regards. Peter

Hi there
Membership renewed.... err, after about 30 years. Back then I had a Strada RGO 992 R. I've now got a late X3 Kanguro and a BMW K100 RS. Anything else you'd like to know?

Well hello. I joined the forum in Feb but have only had my account activated now! However, better late than never. I came here looking for guidance on the restoration of a 1977 Morini Sport that I purchased in Spain and delivered to my home in Northern Ireland.

I am currently nearing the completion of the first stage of this project. Basically I have stripped, fixed, cleaned and replaced anything that needed it.

So anyway, hello everyone I will have a lot of questions I suspect.

I have many but the forum settings only allow three attachments per post and only one post at a time. A little frustrating in this day and age but there you go. Check out the 3.5 forum for my first post, and images.

Problem circumnavigated, I just hosted the images myself.

Hi all,
my name is Eugenio,57 years old, from Pordenone-Italy.
Married with two sons, I am a retired Army Officer.
I am seeking for a 3 1/2 Sport from 1976 (A/3-3^ serie), same model I wanted in the late seventies but that I could not afford.
So far I found few of them but I am still looking for the right one.
Hope to find it soon.
Cheers :D

I have just rejoined after an ~18year break since I sold the 3 1/2 Sport I had for a couple of years.

Not having had any bikes since, I am now tinkering with a Kanguro X. Once that is sorted, a new helmet will be required and then the world is my lobster.

Cheers

Andy
