Greetings!
The threads in the carburetor body (into which the main jet holder screws) has been stripped in one of my VHBZ 25 carburetors. There are insufficient threads to hold the float bowl securely.
Shall I presume there is no fix other than getting another carburetor?

I repaired that thread on one of my carbs about 10 years ago by boring out the curb body making a threaded insert to press in.
The easy way would be to fit a Timesert(tm) insert if you can find someone who already has the kit. Wurth are the UK distributors and mark them up through the roof compared to US prices.
