Hi everyone, i am just in the process of rebuilding a 350 excalibur engine (early one with the starter motor acting on the flywheel) and i just wanted to check which side the copper washers go on the two internal bolts. Do they go on the clutch side or gearbox sprocket side? I realise i should have made a note when i tool it to pieces but i did not!
Also which way round do the bolts actually go? My manual shows the nuts on the gearbox sprocket side, but the internal castings on the left hand crankcase are shaped to take nuts? Does it matter as long as i get the copper washer in the right place?
Any advice would be great, cheers. Tony

On the 'dry' side since they're sealing washers.
