Mike, you son of a gun.
I am there from the 31st. I think we should have a swift 1/2 at least. I will be in Port Erin, but I am sure we could meet.

Very good, can't follow that one, 9 1/2 would be too much.MarkB wrote:You could at least have a swift 3 1/2...

updated to 11 1/2...
Port Erin, Sunday 1st June lunchtime? Not exactly a large Island, like, say, Australia!
I'll have a red rose in my lapel....

It was always traditional to meet on Port Erin front, opposite the café. The pub is a little further round (oh, mines a pint thanks, but I hope to be in Murano!).
Have fun,

I'll wear the white one. See you there. Pub on the front, the big one that brews it's own beer?

We were there. Didn't see a white rose! Went to Queens instead.
Re: TT 2014
Just got back from an heroic TT.
Met a French couple in Port Erin riding this sport, first one I've seen. Not in any club, just like the bike.

You don't use your phone in The IOM?MickeyMoto wrote:We were there. Didn't see a white rose! Went to Queens instead.

Re: TT 2014
Hi George,
I have a private and a works phone. You have my works phone which had a missed call when I got home! I refuse to take it on holiday now. I need to transfer your number to my personal phone which I found was not up to date on the Sunday.
I thought there were more French people than Germans....
Anyway, we had a good time on the Isle. Watched the Superbikes from the Bungalow. The most frightening thing was watching the practice from Glen Vine. Was in the house where the photos of Guy Martin 'Incident' were taken a few years ago. Seeing Michael Dunlop with front wheel at 10 O'Clock made me change my undies. Anyway, got Douglas to Ballaugh off pat now, and Ballaugh to Ramsey is clearer. Shame the Mountain was closed for most of the week. Got one run. Got 110 and decided that was enough. Mind you, The Corsaro was most compliant over the bumpy roads and the handling is very secure. A great bike. Best section? Ballcraine to Cronk-Y-Voddy. Absolutely beautiful piece of tarmac.
