Anybody have an engine mounting bracket for Cougaro / Excalibur, please? For the later Japanese electric engines. I need to modify for the fit to the Kanguro.
Thanks,
Mike.

Re: Excalibur / Coguaro engine mount bracket
Hi, the Cougaro has a different frame from the mono shock Camel and Kanguro (square tubes) which have the same slotted road bike front plates (kinked frame) so I don't think there will be room for the later starter, hopefully I'm wrong.

Re: Excalibur / Coguaro engine mount bracket
Hi,
I've measured up the frames and they are very similar at the front. The difference is in the mountings on the frame and engine. The 501 has a different mounting system to fit the starter motor which is why I would like an old bracket to modify to fit the Kanguro frame to the 501 engine. The main difference I can see is in the lower front which has been repositioned.
When I get the engine in and mounted at the back I will then be able to see what needs doing.
regards,
Mike.
