Old story. I bought wire-wheel, disc-braked RVJ 384S in the early 1980s from Benjy at WeeVee. I commuted, toured and enjoyed it for nearly 20 years. I sold it around 2002, having had a stroke and believing I wouldn't be able to ride again. I was then living on a farm in Hampshire, and stored it in the tractor-shed (though it certainly wasn't!) It was standard, except for Tarozzi rearsets (and I removed the indicators). Somewhere along the way, I had also picked up a spare, large capacity, brown 'touring' tank and matching Strada side-panels, which I think were once used for a show. I can't remember whether these went with the bike or separately, but no matter.
I'm looking for the bike now - not to buy back, just to know where it is. It doesn't show up on the DVLA 'Vehicle Enquiry' website, but it aeems to be listed as insured on the insurer's database.
Anyone seen it?
Thanks.
Leslie.
