Took the Moini for a 150 mile ride at the weekend, I had forgotten how good they are, not having one since 1992. The Avons grip really well. The eh 'silencers' are that quiet in town!!, but lovely on the open road.
The plug colour is a bit 'pale', is that normal with the modern fuels???
Brian.

what do you expect from Lafranconi Competizione

probably the mixture gets a bit leaner because of the open pipes, try and run a main jet one size up and raise the needle a bitbrianh0_4 wrote: The plug colour is a bit 'pale', is that normal with the modern fuels???

Re: Sunday ride
Hi André,
Yes i will put the needles up, but i guess i will need some 115 jets.

Re: Sunday ride
I run comp Lafranconis and run almost exclusively on Shell V-Power, using high octane whenever possible.
43 idle jets
D rather than BD atomisers
Stock needle in stock position.
115 main jets are standard for a Sport.

Hi Paul,
Oh yes good point, i had been putting 95 octane in with the lead replacement stuff!!!
I'll use 98 and look again. (Shell fuel no available here, it's supermarket or Total!!)
Thanks, Brian.
