As standard, my 350K had a tap that was either off or reserve. I think 'down' was reserve, and 'horizontal' was off.

I've since replaced with an aftermarket one from NLM which has three position; 'down' is on, 'horizontal' is off, 'up' is reserve.

Other fuel tap options are available...

As Martin says, there are various taps that might be used. On my standard Strada, the general fuel supply 'on' is provided by the electrotap on the LHS of the bike, going to the front carburettor, which has a link pipe to the rear one, so both cylinders are provided for. The manual tap on the RHS is forward for off and downward for on, and is only used as a reserve tap. Here it is in the 'off' position.
