only if somebody pays the asking price. Perhaps the owner has been told to sell and by pricing it too high wont get any offers?

But are they worth it? I think not. An excess of money and enthusiasm has a habit of emptying our bank accounts.

Look at the prices of old bikes. Are any really worth six figure sums?

Misguided profiteering is behind such prices as most will never be ridden, they are just ornaments and investments.

have to agree with buell, no bike is worth getting into debt for, in the grand scheme of things they sit in the shed most of the time, and when your not useing them your paying out for overpriced spares to keep them on the road, the classic bike scene is like any hobby costly, the publictions only go to fuel the market, a honda fifty is what it is a commuter, an fs1e a teenage piss chariot ! a tiger cub a slow british single etc, i should know ive messed about with a lot of old stuff and said machines and the likes are not worth the time money or effort, there are only a few true classics and most of us dont need a magazine to tell us what they are , and a bike as an investment well it didnt do laurance of arabia any favours.

When interest rates drop bike prices often go up,
if you want a real laugh look at the prices of Honda 90's.
