Rear Light Assembly or Chrome Back Plate

Hi one of the 'arms' that the long rear-light-lens-screws go into, on my CEV rear-light has given up the ghost.
Its the most-common rear light that was fitted from the 1970s onwards, and also on Guzzi T3s, Laverdas, Bevel Ducatis etc
Anyone got one in good condition, with good chrome, they'd part with.
Happy to buy a complete unit if you prefer.
Plenty of parts to swap if you're in need...

Hi Simon.
I had the same problem with one of my rear lights and repaired it by cutting the screw tube from a vintage Triumph using a dremel.
I then made a glue / putty using other parts of the red plastic light that was sacrificed with Methyl Ethyl Ketone, fixed the screw tube in .place until set and its served me well.
Regards Frank, milford haven.

Yes they mostly are - chromed plastic....what could possibly go wrong (everything).
Bafflingly rare and bafflingly expensive to buy new repros, or crap black plastic ones

I know what you mean about the scarcity and price of them. I repaired mine by drilling out the back plate and aralditing in an M5 shouldered rivnut/ nutsert. Did need a longer screw:
