Pre empting that my 3 1/2 might need a rebore or at least new rings, I will find out during the winter months.
Although it starts / runs / ticks over just fine, there has to be some reason for it's lack of compression.
It has started to burn a little oil on the front pot so could be bores / rings.
I gather that both pistons and rings are verging on "unobtanium", and some people bore them out to 375cc but the pistons / rinigs for that are hard / impossible to get hold of.
Just interested to know how easy it is to get hold of pistons / rings and where I might have a chance of getting them.
Of course it could be the valves - I'l find out when I take it apart in the winter, in the meantime I'll keep riding it.

Re: Pistons and rings
For what it's worth, it looks like this company https://www.coxandturner.co.uk/piston-rings/ can probably make / supply piston rings, but not pistons.
Might be helpful if someone is looking for a set of rings.
No going to be taking mine down until the winter months so will not know exactly what I need until then.

Re: Pistons and rings
King of pistons in Italy?
Re: Pistons and rings
I took a look at Kings of Pistons, looks like they do "printed" pistons for 350's - only £850 or therabouts each !!!
Guess they are 3D printed.
Not really going to know what I need until I take the top end off over winter.
