tel 3x to see if i could get touch up paint or the code so that i could get some mixed locally.
Bloke at 3x was very helpful but informed me that the factory won't supply the paint code info as they have tried in the past..
My bikes yellow and black. Some one suggested that the yellow was the same as used on some ferrari's.
I'd just like to touch up the few odd stone chips befre they get any worse.
Any ideas where to get paint info anyone

Twisty - if your bike is a Yellow Corsaro then its likely to be a special edition LAMBOGHINI colour (sorry for the spelling)

			Hi Twisty,
The 'fitz' is right: It is a Lambourghini yellow.

I believe the colour is (or was) used on their 'Gallardo' model.

These days 'Lambourghini' is owned by 'Audi' so I would imagine that touch-up paint should be an 'off the shelf' item.

Will see what I can find out for you.

Regards
Stephen R

			Twisty,
Seems I previously mis-spelled 'Lamborghini' too!

It appears that the nearest could find is called 'Giallo Midas' and is used on both the 'Gallardo' and 'Murcielago' models.

The only concern is this is a pearlescent colour and therefore difficult to compare unless seen in the metal.

Suggest you'd best give Lamborghini London or Manchester a call or look for a used car for sale, in your area and take a look?

Regards
Stephen R

			All;
Lambertini confirmed the source of the colour at the Morini clubs Factory Visit last year.
We're going again in 2009 - why not come along and see the man yourself!

Apparently there are only three Yellow Corsaros in the country - one in Bristol, another in Northamptonshire and yours... Rare indeed.
Good riding,
CC

Ferrari knew what they were doing when they called the colour Fly Yellow

Saw Tom's yellow Corsaro at the AGM and it looks stunning. A strange pearlescent/metallic yellow with carbon bits. Yum.
