Re: carb question
I usually find that I'm fitting smaller idle jets for modern fuel.

Re: carb question
thanks for reply, I have to have the idle set fairly high to get a decent pipe sound, on nearly 2k showing on the tacho any slower it sounds pretty feeble like a sewing machine with a poor exhaust note if you know what I mean, worse when hot with the occasional dead spot on first throttle opening, bike runs fine through the rev range and plugs also nice sandy colour, that's got me thinking about pilot jets they are original ones , and would going bigger help . thanks muller
Re: carb question
A stumble when pulling away which gets worse as engine temperature rises indacates you're running rich.
I usually fit 43 idle jets.

Re: carb question
I see were your coming from on going smaller on the jet size, I suppose its more of style over substance with the pod filters only thing to do is try a few out see if it improves the running, if anyone has any pilot jets going spare please pm me, thanks again for reply . muller
