Display blank and sound from relays under the seat!

Hi guys,

I have been riding the Scrambler now and then. And on Sunday i wanted to go for a ride and when i turn the ignition on the display came up and made all normal sounds for the oil pump and other electrics. And after a few seconds the display on the clocks went blank and i tried to turn it on/off a couple of times and the display comes with with a large code on the screen and goes blank again this time with a continuous ticking sound from the blue and black relays under the seat. When i pressed and moved the relays there the screen comes back and goes back blank again but is not a constant feature though, the results keep varying.

What could be the problem and has anyone faced these issues? How do i start diagnosis and what should i look for?

Are you sure the battery is charged OK? I'm not on my usual device so no access to the manual. Diagnostics are entered by turning on while pressing the button on the clocks I *think*. I'll check when I get home.
