My 350 sport has never run quite as well as I'd have hoped (however I've never ridden another to compare it to!). What I have noticed is that the exhaust pipes, whilst externally identical in shape, have different internals?
One appears to be straight through (you can poke a long stick down it!), the other has some angles/curves within the pipe - you can only poke a stick about 5ins down it. Its not blacked, it is made that way.
They are both marked correctly DGM1042S? however one has a different Lafranconi logo to the other suggesting they are different batches / year of manufacture. Any thoughts?
I'd be interested in buying or borrowing a 2-1 to see if that makes any difference.
Thanks, Stuart
