Most of the kickstart gears are 20 teeth which is I think standard 350. I have one at 19 teeth which I believe is 500 6 speed box. The 5 speed box is 23 teeth. Do you know which you have?

If it is any help the kickstart gear of the 250T is the same part number (14.04.25) as the 500W (I have never heard of a 250H - I believe the 125 used that letter).

Hello Ian,
Would you have a useable pair of Marzocchi stanchions for a Strada K1?. 605 long, 1.5mm pitch threads at the top nut.

I got 1 NOS 35mm stanchion in the stock of bits. It is 601mm long however. Machining tolerance? I know they are supposed to be 605mm. I have a feeling I found some new ones recently that were not too expensive. If I remember where I will let you know. Cheers Ian

I have hopefully found 2 NOS ones in Germany, they should been their way soon.
Is that red K1 fuel tank still around?, if so, what nick is it in?.

- 19 teeth: 500/501 6-Gear (the only one with somehow "pointed" teeth)
- 20 teeth : 350
- 23 teeth: 500 5-Gear and 250T (as far as I know, the whole gearbox is identic)
The upmost sprocket on the kichstart shaft should be carefully chosen to fit the teething (there are slighty diferences concerning the form of the junction teeth!)
The rest of the kickstart mecanism is allways the same at least in 350, 500, 501 and 250T
Primary gear:
350: 29/66
500/501: 31/63
both are 23 mm thick

In 2011 I tried to resume the main diferences between the 500/501 and 350 motors in the german forum. In the 4th post you find the results.
