Come on, you’ll have to do better than that. I’ve offered Steve my wife’s bread pudding as and when he wants it. Oh and before anyone asks, it isn’t a euphemism !

Upgraded today with a tankfull of E5. It did seem to fly more too, which surprised me. Still open to offers.

Price dropped again! I'm now asking only £3750! So get your fingers out please-I'll probably take it to Newark Autojumble this weekend (14th Sept) along with my T500 Suzuki and my van which are also for sale.

I need to do this to complete my other Morini projects and I am not giving up on Morini-OK?

Steve, I can't believe it hasn't sold yet (maybe it has and I am late to the party...). Anyway, I have not had a Morini for 10+ years, but I am sure I bought bits and pieces of a Sport from you in the late 90s/early noughties, which I had almost finished rebuilding when unfortunately it was involved in a flood :(. I am now a Guzzi owner for my sins, despite being offered my old 501-engined 500 a few years ago.

Sorry to hear what happened to your Morini! Not recoverable I guess or you couldn't face doing the work all over again?
My bike is still here and I can't believe it either. I think I'm giving up trying now, the only replies I've had want pictures and then I hear nothing more. Maybe they all want immaculate show ponies rather than usable well proven bikes?
My plan now is to 'Strada-ise' it. I think I'll use it more that way.

You say it's never been owned by a Vicar. What do you have against us poor Vicars owning Morinis? I've owned my Strada since 1986 and been a Vicar since 1991!!! Mine has been rebuilt by me, a former motorcycle engineer and shop owner, to beyond Sport spec with L5 cam, sport pistons and flowed heads. It goes like the clappers and I ride it like I've stolen it- but of course I haven't officer and only do so within legal limits, well most of the time anyway ! Never underestimate a Vicar with a Morini !!!!

I must have been thinking of the other side-Currently watching an episode of Father Ted. To be absolutely clear I think no man or woman of any cloth has enjoyed this bike. I did meet some Buddhist Monks in the Himalayas who were definitely looking for another level, but at the time I was riding an RE Himalayan. I was also drawn into a Hindhu ceremony in Assam. I'd gone there to ask them to keep the noise down as my hotel room was right above. They graciously promised they would stop at midnight, and as most things stopped overnight in Tezpur I accepted their word. They were still at it when I got up to leave at 6am!
In Nagaland I was amazed to meet former headhunters who were now not only Christians but some were ministers. They definitely had a past. Beef was on the menu as well. Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura were my favourites. Until I got back to Assam. The reason the other places stick in my mind was that there were a good number of 1975 RD350 twins on the streets. Made by Rajdoot under license from Yamaha. They are banned in most other states as they were a tool of choice for gangsters. As soon as I realised that I decided a Morini would never deliver the level of criminal menace I was trying to convey. Purely in the hope of a TV contract of course. Henry Cole didn't buy the idea though.
So I am now quite happy to sell to a vicar, a priest, an Imam or pagan leader of any gender. They will need a certain amount of cash though to satisfy me they are worthy.
It's Tamnavullin tonight!

Looked in the Ten Commandant, no mention of 'Thou shalt not use thy Morini to the full'.

However, it does say 'Thou shalt not commit adultery' so be careful before coveting another brand.

You went to Assam to meet Buddhist Monks? There is a Monastery near Eskdalemuir in the Borders. Disappointed there were no bacon sandwiches in the cafe.

Now, Tamnavullin... reminds me of my trip on my Milano around Speyside, a distillery around every corner. My preference is Ad Gefrin, waiting for my first edition bottle.

Nice to see a number plate still in place.
I’d like another bike myself but one at least would have to go and I cannot decide- plus
a) selling a bike for £ not so easy.
b)not getting any younger( the elderly gentleman etc)
b1) so don’t procrastinate
b2) why bother
b3) roads are sha**ed
b4) can I pass the eye test? Or urine?

In the meantime happy to ride around Devon- it’s a big arsed county.
