Well, the Excalibur engine didn't fit in my 1976 frame. A guy at the Normandy rally at Easter showed me that the engine mounting needs cutting for the starter to fit. Also, the Kokusan ignition needs the control box and separate ignition coils.

it does fit in my 1975 sport, it is a tight fit, but nothing changed to the frame.

you are right about the ignition , i was running a aftermarket ignition anyway.
