ABBA stand for Milano and SuperScrambler

Post by mbmm350s »

For the 1200 Milano and Superscrambler the mighty ABBA stand can be used, whilst it is not listed on ABBAs fitment list,
all that is needed is fitting kit 063 (which is actually the same as X-cape 650 although sides are swapped)

No more struggling with wonky paddock stands. These are rock solid. Backwheel can be removed easily and
importantly wheel spindle can be removed without need to remove the silencers, brilliant!
Front wheel easy too just a small jack under the engine to tilt the whole back or ABBA can supply another arm to lift the front.

ABBA stands can be found on the internet buy direct www.abbastands.co.uk - call them up to check your swing arm fittings and
order the special fitting kit.

I have just purchased this stand with the fitting kit 631. It is a brilliant piece of kit. I will now be able to very easily clean lubricate and adjust the chain and clean the rear wheel and inspect the rear tire easily. Also rear wheel removal should be relatively straight forward. I phoned Abba to order and they advised me that it was not listed as they had never tested either of these models so I sent them some photos and they may now list it

Fabulous, great investigative work!

I would assume the same will fit other 1200 models too- any chance we can do some testing on any local Corsaro/granpasso etc?

I’d definitely be tempted to get one for my corsaro

I have used an Abba stand for many bikes over a number of years. As you say a game changer. If you have a lathe, or friend with one, I have found it very easy to turn up adapters for different bikes, even my 250 (a bit high when using the footrest bosses).

I phoned up Abba and gave them the measurement for the Corsaro received a kit that fitted perfectly.
