175 Tresette HINTS AND TIPS

Post by Arthur Farrow »

175 Engine Hints and tips for strip down and maintenance.

Having had 2 engines totally apart this year and rebuilt I have learnt a lot so I have decided to put together a detailed analysis ...it is very much work in progress and currently runs to 12 A 4 pages

I am at the stage now where I would welcome any input from persons with similar experience with a view to making it available to members of the MORINI RIDERS CLUB

I am currently at V13 and a copy can be supplied if you private message me your e mail address BUT ONLY if you feel you can contribute in say a month or less

Hello Arthur.

I can't contribute to your Tresette engine analysis, but it is a wonderful and generous thing to do and I applaud your efforts. 8)

Arthur I would love a copy, even though Ive sold my Tresette Sprint. I WILL get another, or build that Settebello Rep...

Im on moriniboy23@yahoo.co.uk

I have some info and also have the fantastic Motociclismo D'Epoca magazine 'specials' on the 175s, which with AI can probably be scanned, then easily and accurately translated these days? Let me know if youwant me to dig those out and scan them for potential pirating....

I also have some folk-memory of reading that Mr Honda being so impressed by their reliability he got hold of a Tresette to analyse and copy and as a result the gudgeon-pin/circlips are the same as C50 Honda Cub

Are you on your desaxe350 email still? Ive started sending material through
