After some correspondence with Angelo63 recently, he suggested I might post some pictures of my camel Mk.1.
Have thought about posting pics before but never sure if I could handle the process, so here goes.

Had the bike a few years now, non runner when I got it but otherwise in good un- restored condition. Love it, very pleasant to ride and handles nice. The disc front end was on it and initially was going to try and get it back to original ( drum front wheel and original forks came with it ) but after using my Kanguro X with a drum and had a few moments, thought I would leave the disc on for safety and also do not go off road. Disc with twin bot Brembo is a little harsh, plan is eventually to try a smaller master cylinder.

Hi Derek. Thank you for having published your Camel photos. I understand the original front drum brake limitations!
Esthetically, I would not have changed the front fender because takes off its off-road characteristic.

I do have the original fender but it's in poor condition. Perhaps I will have ago at restoring it to present a more original look.
If I can bring it to a condition to match the rest of the bike I would be happy, not to keen on the total restored look, I like the as used but tidy look.
Another job on a long list.

True about the projects, certainly I'm never bored. For many years I've toyed with the idea that I should concentrate on 1 bike or make but other things come along and I end up with several projects. This of course means time and money has to be shared out which inevitably means it always takes longer to get things done, but that's the way it is with me. Just wish I'd started with Morinis earlier, in my 60's when I got my first one, had 3 at one time but down to 2 now. Have a fairly big British bike project on also at the moment which is taking up quite a bit of my time, and unfortunately time is not really on my side, it's correct what they say, the older you get the quicker time goes. I do believe though that involvement motorbikes keeps you feeling young.
Like the idea of the Italian Morini rally, but not very likely that I would be able to make the trip.
