Hi all!!

My 86' camel 501 restoration project is very close to its finish

now i need a front fork rebuild... but i found a kanguro X3 front fork in very good condition (and for a good price...50 euros...) will this fit my bike?

i know that an x3 kanguro has the brake calipers points on the rear of the fork on the right side while my camel has a different caliper from the kanguro one and the caliper is on the font of the fork on left side...

any suggest?

and lastly... where can i find a good rebuilt kit for my fork? any good web page on how to do this?

thanks in advance
Gianluca

It sounds like the forks have been turned around. I've done this on my 350 so that the caliper is at the back of the fork slider.

I don't think this would work with leading axle forks!
