Going to replace the cam belt on my Kanguro.
I see on the forum there is a few different makes. They range from a £5 to £30+
The £30+ ones are from NLM. I presume these must be the genuine ones.Mine is a B belt Can anyone advise me on these

Hi Ken
yes, stick to the pukka stuff from NLM. You'll also need a flywheel puller from the same. That's about £20 but well worth it espacially if you intend keeping your bike.
All the best

If you want a really genuine belt I've got a NOS one still in it's Morini packaging.
It could be what, 20 or 30 years old?
I buy my Gates belts from an industrial supplier knowing that they're not more than 1 year from date of manufacture and be confident that it's not going to break as I try and hit 10,000rpm at Cadwell.
Nearly all my bikes have nominally sized 'B' pulleys and unsorted belts fit just fine.
The 'Blue Book' clearly states that 6mm is the MAXIMUM permitted slack in the belt. The tighter the better as long as you aren't forcing the belt on.

I use Beeline Engineering Products;

Just phone them with the belt dimensions and your credit card details.
There are bearing/transmission places all around the country, this one is just local to me.
