I am desperately trying to get my frame to the refinishers but cannae get the bolt out of the centre stand.
Does anybody know if it screws in or is just straight through with the nut on the end holding it?
I am reluctant to apply too much welly to the club hammer....
thanks,

Re: Kanguro X3 frame
If it's like the Sport/Strada stand, then the bolt screws into the stand and is then locked with a nut. The bolt is meant to pivot in a tube in the frame, both bolt and tube being replaceable items. The bolt often seizes in the tube (which then rotates in the frame) and you have to cut the bolt with a thin blade on both sides.

Hi, they are an interference fit, remove them from the inside with a long drift once removed you will see two small holes that allow the bearing race to be drifted out (if they need replacing).

Hi,
Thanks for the advice. I'll keep bashing...
When out, it's off to the painters.
