Kanguro X3 Warning Buzzer

Hi all,
Im getting a contunuous warning buzzer when gear is engaged. I'm presuming this is related to side stand switch.
It appears that the PO did not have the switch properly adjusted and as a result it was been repeatedly impacted by the stand until the "piston part of the switch became jammed in place by a dent in the end of the tube that it travels in.
So... the switch / stand position should now be irrelivent and I have to presume wiring loom fault.
Before I start, are there any other circuits that might trigger the warning buzzer ?
