Which Kanguro?

Hi all, I'm finding the riding position on my 350 Strada increasingly cramped and uncomfortable and am thinking of swopping it for a Kanguro. Can anyone tell me the seat height of the Kanguro. NLM have several listed on their website, is the final model the X3 the best one to go for?
Thanks, Neil.

Neil,

Don't know the quoted seat height, but my X1 is comfortable to reach ground at 6', 33" inside leg. I think the X1 is the best. I'm partisan since I have an X1 but I did have the opportunity to rebuild two piles of bikes into either an X1 or X3 when I bought the bits. I went for the X1 due to it being a fair bit lighter, especially in the frame. See my website...http://www.kanguro.motoani.co.uk/.

Keep in touch,

Adrian

Adrian, thanks for your reply, plenty of useful info on your website if I decide to get one. NLM have a nice X1 listed, like the red colour better than the X3 paint job but the X3 has the electric start (they can be made to work!) I can see a trip to NLM is in the offing.
Regards,
Neil.

Hi, I've an X1 Kanguro, and while the seat is significantly higher off the ground than my old Strada, I'm not sure that the distance from seat to footrest is any greater. If anything I'd say it feels less, but the biggest difference is in the much more upright riding position. I suggest you ride around on one if you can and see how it feels to you.

Does the gear lever on your Strada run forward from the shaft, or does it have a linkage?

Fitting the later Sport/Strada linkage to early Stradas is quite popular and NLM should have the bits in stock if you can't find a set.
