Can anybody tell me what is the correct size and lenth of chain for X3 kanguro ?,

the correct chain is 106 links of 520 chain. That's with the standard sprockets of 14/47 teeth

thanks for the info but after a dirty afternoon in the workshop comparing chains with my other bikes ,I,ve decided it has 530 size sprockets , 14 and 48 tooth. 106 links looks about right though.
I,ve got a spare back wheel from, I think, an early Kanguro and that does looks like a 520 size.

What ever you do DON'T fit a 530 O-ring chain, there's a danger of wrecking the cases.
The whole reason they went to a 520 was that in O-ring form it's about the same width as a plain 530.
Sprockets aren't that expensive from Sprockets Unlimited and especialy if you're fitting an O-ring chain, it's usually false economy to fit a new chain to worn sprockets.
