front brake splitter

I have been putting my 500 back together and have hit a stop. The two brake lines come from the calipers and join the 2 into one splitter. The splitter has two mounting holes about 25mm apart but there is no matching pair on the underside or front of the bottom (marzocchi)yoke. Is there a bracket I'm missing? If you have one could you give me a description so I can make one up?
Best regards

Yes, there would have been a bracket, but it's not an easy thing to describe. Since you almost certainly need new brake lines, you might want to consider making up braided lines and running them both back directly to the mastercylinder.

Good idea. Unfortunately I already have some braided hose for it so not an option. Anyone got a bracket lose and willing to photo graph it for me?

Sorry for the bad photo.

There should be two holes in the bottom yoke, the bracket is attached with two through bolts, nuts/washers on the underneath of the yoke. The bracket is angled forwards and downwards and has two holes for the splitter. If it was flattened out it would be triangular with the tip cut off.

Let me know if you need a clearer photo and I will try again.

I've never seen one quite like that before.

I've always seen them with the plate bolted into the tapped bosses on the underside of the bottom yoke.
