saches ignition maps

Hi. I have got a saches ignition fitted to my 500 sport. Its default setting is 5 on the mapping rotary switch but it feels a bit harsh to me, but as a first time owner I dont know any different. Has anyone played with the 9 different map possibilities. I have just set mine to map 4 which has a gentler slope to max advance. I just want a smoother ride not looking for max power.

Its going really well. Bike starts first time on the electric start.. Ive had major carb issues that are now fixed so im currently on map 5 but im going to look at the others. I tried 4 but it felt very snatchy at low revs but that was most likely the fueling issue. I will try it out over the next few weeks and report back.
