I've got a cracked side panel on my '83 500 & wondered if anyone had successfully tried to repair any Morini plastics from that era (or earlier), using plastic welding? I'd welcome & appreciate any of your experiences & in particular, the name of any company that gave you a good service in this regard?

Try the Plastex repair kit. It works quite well, I've used in on my Gilera CX.

Agree-I've used Plastex on some fairly cracked BMW side panels and you can't see the join,as they say.
