Hi.
Had my 500 on the road since early May now, what a bike!
One niggle though, my bike seems to be rich from idle to 1/4 throttle making an annoying dip in the power delivery when setting off.
My bike came with 40 slides and 50 pilots, and in the world of Morinis' it's hard to get a definite factory setting with conflicting advice just the click of a button away. But I believe the European settings are 50 slides and 50 pilots with the American one being 40 slides and 42 pilots. Can anyone confirm that is indeed correct.
If so I'll try 42 pilots, jets being cheaper than slides, I am a Yorkshire man after all.
Thanks

Re: Carb question
Hi, only ever seen 40 slides on 500 Morinis and 42 or 45 pilot jets. I've found that 42 or 43 pilots give better low down delivery, so you're on the right track.
Have fun, Ian
