Folks,
I'm sorry to report that the Australian enthusiast with the tag 'Morizzi' is no longer with us. His name is Rod, and about a month ago he rode down to my shed to offer me a ride on his 500 Morini as he was about to take it off the road. He knew that none of my Morinis are currently on the road and wanted to give me a chance to see what I was missing. He had a fatal heart attack the next day.
A generous man, absolute bike enthusiast, with a passion for getting things right. Rod often referred to his Morini as the 'wanker magnet' as every time he rode it, he was beseiged by people who wanted to tell him what they knew about Morinis, usually without ever having ridden, let alone owned one.
Yes he was contakerous, but he only ever argued about what he had learned to be true.
