I just picked up a fairly trashed 500W - 1980ish, and it came without a chain. Anyone know what pitch and number of links? i have an old copy of the manual but they seem to have left that bit of info out.

It's a 3/8 by 5/8 chain; with a 44 tooth rear sprocket. No mention of length - I guess that you'll just have to count the links.

Better to buy a chain one or two too many than not enough.
